I was a member of dedicated Test/Integration Team in a project for one of the world’s leading logistic companies. My tasks included:

• Functional tests preparation and run
• Defect management and tracing
• Test data management
• Technical tests (load and performance tests using JMeter and Nagios) management, preparation and run
• Test automation

My objective was to shorten the defect detection and resolution cycle, due to my being on-site in a project developed in a nearshore software solution centre. I was also engaged in some of company’s internal test-related trainings. Tools used in the project included HP Quality Center for defect, issues and test plan management, Eclipse for development, JMeter for load & performance testing, and several in-house tools, including FIT-based functional test automation tool.
